Deriving from folk roots and a scope of other personal influences, Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir is an artist who approaches emotional expression with sincerity and vulnerability. His father, Einar Georg Einarsson, is an accomplished writer that helped inspire much of Ásgeir’s perspective and work, including co-writing the debut song off of his forthcoming album, "Living Water", which serves as a paean to Iceland’s astonishing natural resources, and the urgent need to protect them.
