Composer, conductor and pianist, received 25 international first prizes all over te world, among them the Tomás Luis de Victoria Prize and UNESCO Prize.Conductor and soloist of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de l´ORTF France,Orchestre de l´Opera de Nice,National Orchestra of Spain, among 100 orchestras around the world. Professor at the Universities of Yale, Indiana, Juilliard School,was elected by unanimity of the 175 international members of the IMC/UNESCO in Dresden, in 1985, as the President of the International Music Council of UNESCO.
