Before Beatlemania was even born Britain was in the grip of Billymania. He recorded a string of hits such as Halfway to Paradise, Maybe Tomorrow, Wondrous Place, It's Only Make Believe, Jealousy and Collette. Billy also appeared in 3 films Play It Cool, I've Gotta Horse and That'll Be The Day. Billy Fury died on 28 January 1983 after battling a long life heart illness, he was 42 years old. He may be gone, but his legacy will live on forever.
