YVI
YVI is the name singer/songwriter Diederick Brandsma chose for his solo project. The melancholic storytelling songs offer consolation, even if you weren't looking for it. YVI conjures soul-raising alternative folk and indie rock akin to Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Bon Iver. On June 20th, YVI releases his latest project 'control', a five-song EP, on Revanche Records. On 'control’, YVI describes his struggles with perfectionism.
