Phat Tape
I grew up in the 90's and love hip hop. I make beats inspired by my favorite artists of the 90's era. My favorite producers are DJ premier, Havoc from Mobb Deep, RZA, Buckwild, Erick Sermon, Rhythm D, DJ Slip, Lord Finesse, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Dr. Dre, Q Tip, Dj Muggs, The Alchemist, Easy Mo Bee, Diamond D among others. For my Phat Tapes, I have edited every track to some degree and even made instrumentals out of songs that did not have official instrumental versions available. I like to include instrumentals at certain points during the compilations to add to the overall atmosphere of that year. A simple cross fade is applied between tracks.
