Description

Yan Wagner is a French-American singer songwriter and music producer born in Paris, France, who now lives and works in the southern city of Marseilles. With his warm and crooning voice, he's been cruising the indie scene for a little more than a decade, releasing three records of his own : “Forty Eight Hours” in 2012, produced by French award-winning producer Arnaud Rebotini. “This Never Happened” in 2017 made his music and voice reaching more diverse territories. Wheedling and warm, that very same voice recalls the likes of Frank Sinatra, David Sylvian or Scott Walker. In 2021 came out his latest record to date, “Couleur Chaos” (Yotanka), for the first time sung in French, and incorporating some more luminous and solar elements of G-funk and disco to his musical equation. Parallel to the releases of his albums he went on to remix and collaborate with numerous notable artists, from Etienne Daho to Bagarre, Black Strobe, Scratch Massive or Kid Francescoli among others.
