When excited with enough potential, they yield in awesome colours, like Electric Blue, Arcing Violet, Copper Green, Liquid Glass Yellow, or Sodium Orange. Then the odd battery will pop or Capacitor Explodes. I like older type electro-mechanical kWh meters, registers, and electric master clocks which have become a hobby out of control. Luckily my wife and kids are very tolerant about all these hoarding issues. Enjoy playing vinyl records, and reel to reel tapes with tracks, which are not often heard off and should not be forgotten.
