Nicola Són
Nicola Són was born in Paris, but lived in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo for 5 years. He has been back in his hometown since 2018. After a trilogy and an EP where he explored the rhythmic peculiarities of different regions of Brazil, he launched in early 2020 a re-reading album of Edith Piaf's greatest hits in Portuguese and tropical rhythms, on the French label Accords Croisés (for the world, except Brazil) and on the Brazilian label Biscoito Fino (for Brazil). His style is a combination of bossa nova , samba, jazz and pop, carried by a very effective soundtrack.
