Name: Mike The Memory Shop was a broadcast and mobile DJ company based in Pennsylvania. I started as a mobile DJ in 1968 and expanded to two syndicated oldies radio shows in the late 1980's, early 90's. The Memory Shop Almanac was a daily 3 minute spot highlighting, "what happened today in rock 'n roll." The Dance Party and Just For Lovers were each two hour weekly shows highlighting music that mostly couldn't crack the Billboard Top 40. Needless to say I'm a bit passionate about the music, love the more obscure tunes and I'm STOKED to find the amount of rare/obscure soul, R&B, and urban vocal harmonies on the Net. I'll contribute whenever I can.
