Grandbrothers blur the lines between electronic and acoustic music. What began as an experimental project based solely on a grand piano evolved into a rich, hybrid sound that now includes analog synths, drum samples, and club-inspired rhythms. Pianist Erol Sarp and engineer Lukas Vogel first met in university and bonded over minimalism and sonic curiosity. After four albums rooted in piano manipulation, their new album Elsewhere (out Sept 26 via their own label and_others) marks a bold shift: deeper grooves, vintage synths, and a powerful live show designed for standing venues and full-body listening.
